Brian David Repola, 51, passed away on September 23, 2024 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was born in Wheatridge, Colorado, to David and Denise Repola. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Devona, and two sons, Kyle and Caleb; his mother, Denise Repola; his brother, Mark Repola (Candice Furgeson); mother-in-law, Iva Peats; sisters-in-law, Deanna (Joseph) Nettles and Donella Guerrero; brother-in-law, Vince Guerrero; nephews, Noah Repola, Brennen Furgeson, Joshua and Jonathan Nettles; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, David Repola and his father-in-law, Donald E. Peats Jr.
Brian grew up in La Veta, CO, and graduated from Adams State University. He later earned a Master’s Degree in Technology and Education and went on to earn a Principal License. Brian worked in the education field as a teacher and administrator for 28 years. He loved working in the education system and was truly a “what‘s best for the kids” educator, caring deeply about making sure the kids received his very best! Brian coached numerous sports throughout his career. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene for 24 years, and he loved his church family.
Brian loved the mountains and enjoyed family camping trips. He also enjoyed golf, barbequing, cooking, and spending quality time with his family and friends. Brian enjoyed watching football, especially Notre Dame and the Broncos. He knew no stranger and was always showing how much he cared for others with kind words and gestures.
Brian was devoted to his family and was a loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
The Memorial Service will be held on October 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 84 Stanford, Pueblo, CO 81005.
