Betty Ann DeVore, 93, of Pueblo, went to be with her Lord on December 8, 2018. She was born February 2, 1925 in Pueblo, Colorado. Betty leaves her loving husband of 69 years, Don DeVore; children, Greg (Connie) DeVore and Peggy (Bob) Cusworth; grandchildren, Brian (Kayci) Cusworth, Chad (Tinsley) Cusworth and Amanda (Joshua) Salerno, all of whom were her pride and joy; three great-granddaughters, Karlie, Brynlie and Della Cusworth. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Theresa Simonich; and sisters, Lorraine Snapp and Jean Rechis.
Betty and Don worked and played together and were best buddies. They enjoyed fishing, traveling, farming, gardening and spending time with their grandchildren; especially all their baseball, football, soccer games and dance recitals. Betty loved music, dancing, spending time with her flower gardens and making crafts. She loved all sports – especially the Denver Nuggets. Betty and Don spent the summers at their cabin in Sapinero, Colorado. Betty worked for Southern Colorado Power Company and School District 70. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
A visitation will occur from 4-7pm on Wednesday, December 12 at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. A rosary will occur at 9:30 with Mass of the Resurrection at 10am on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
