Willie-Mae Miller, 78, of Providence, RI died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pickensville, AL and was the daughter of the late Perry Hughes, Sr. and Annie L. Morris.
She resided in Alabama before moving to Rhode Island in 1964. Willie-Mae was employed by Coto Coil Incorporated in Providence, RI for many years. Willie-Mae was a strong woman and a great protector who cared about everyone. She enjoyed being around family and friends and making everyone laugh. Willie-Mae is survived by one daughter Wanda Miller of Providence, RI; Two grandchildren, Keith Miller and Latoya Miller of Providence, RI; Three great- grandchildren Tenisha Miller, Kyra Miller and Jayzin Miller of Rhode Island. As well as, one great -great- grandchild, Amina Miller of Providence, RI.
She leaves one sister Ada Garrett of Cranston, RI. Four brother's Perry Hughes Jr. of Alabama, Arthur Hughes (Sandy), John Hughes and Michael Morris of Providence, RI and Victor Morris of Woonsocket, RI. Also, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother Albert Hughes and sister Clara Morris.
