William T. Williams

Bill served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and would later work at Crawshaw’s Restaurant in East Providence. He was a carrier for the United States Postal Service for 26 years in East Providence and Riverside. Following a brief retirement he became a greeter for Walmart in Seekonk, MA where he was affectionately known as “Mr. Bill “.

He was an avid Red Sox fan and admired Ted Williams. During the Christmas Season many visited him as “ Santa “. He will be sorely missed by all who knew his generous and caring persona. 

Bill is survived by his sister Julie Middleton his niece Geraldine Gibbons and nephew Michael Shannon both of whom he lived with. Niece Christine Middleton and her children Brittini Eastwood and Carissa Williamson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday October 18 at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory maybe made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, #3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
