Robert H. Jackson, 75, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2013 and went to be with his beloved wife, the late Claire A. (Fiero) Jackson. Born in Portland, Maine, he was a son of the late Frank C., Sr. and Margaret (Thurlow) Jackson.
Robert retired from CJ Fox and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Devoted father of Sandra Gaboury and her husband Christopher; step-father of David Raymond; grandfather of five; and brother of Frank C. Jackson, Jr., Irene Morgan, Mildred Gouveia, Hazel DeLomba, and the late Pauline Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral will be held Friday from 10-11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Ave., Providence, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Jimmy Fund, c/o Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
