Peter B. Bedrosian

East Providence Peter B. Bedrosian, 82, of East Providence, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joan S. (Ferreira) Bedrosian for the past fifty-nine years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giragos and Gozale (Nahabedian) Bedrosian. Pete was a meat cutter for many years before retiring. An active member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, he served on the Board of Trustees for many years, and was an N.R.A. delegate. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. In addition to his wife Joan, he leaves two sons, Mark Bedrosian and Scott Bedrosian; a brother, Sahag Bedrosian; three grandchildren, Simone, Candice, and Ashley; and three great-grandchildren, AnnMarie, Alan, and Riley. He was a brother of the late Rose Menissian and Theresa Morin. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Service at 11:00 am in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. Burial, with military honors, will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Monday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
