Patrick J. Cavanaugh, age 90, passed away on March 20, 2013. He was the husband of Vivian (Gariepy) and the late Helene (McCarthy) Cavanaugh. Born in Ireland, he was the son of the late John J. and Ellan (Peters) Cavanaugh. Before retirement, Mr. Cavanaugh was employed with NE Telephone as an office administrator. He was the father of Sean and Sheila Cavanaugh. Brother of John and Liam Cavanaugh and Joan Halpin. He was also the brother of the late Edward, Michael Cavanaugh, Mary Quinlivan, Bridget Murphy, Eileen Doocey and Cathy Ring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am in Church of Blessed Sacrament Academy Ave, Providence. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
