Born in Providence, he was the loving son of Rita (Manupelli) Cimini and the late Richard “Dickie” Cimini, and maternal grandson of Barbra Manuppelli. He is survived by his brother Richard Cimini and his four loving sisters Lisa (Cimini) Biron, Leonarda Conti, Jodi Harrison Matteo and Regina Harrison; loving nieces Abigail Cimini, Cassidy Matteo, Riely Biron, Alyce Biron and his dear nephew Andrew Matteo.
Michael was a member of the Laborers’ Union Local 271 and employed at the Twin River Casino. He was a sensitive, honest person who was an avid New England Patriots fan. He loved spending time with friends and family. Most of all, he loved his mom’s home cooked meals. Michael will be dearly missed.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, September 15th from 9-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
