Mario E. Pallotto, 96, of Johnston passed away peacefully at Fatima Hospital on September 17, 2021 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Palmerino and Algisa (Mannarelli) Pallotto and brother of the late Olga and Gloria Pallotto. He joins his late wife Dorothy (Ricci) Palotto in heaven.
Mario served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII and worked for many years at the Turnkey Post Office in Providence. He was a member of AARP and the National Association of Retired Employees.
He leaves behind his son Paul Pallotto of Alabama; daughter Christine and her husband Phil Baccari with whom he lived; and grandsons Christopher and Philip Baccari Jr.
His funeral service will be held Thursday 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St, Providence with burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITATION WEDNESDAY 4:00-7:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged.
