Margaret M. Gentile

Margaret M. (Hamilton) Gentile, passed away peacefully at Kent Hospital on Tuesday, the 5th day of June, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Gentile, Esq. for the past sixty-one years.

The funeral will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at  8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours, Sunday, 2:00 – 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rhode Island Special Olympics, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, Rhode Island 02917, in her memory would be appreciated. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James P. and Beatrice (O’Donoghue) Hamilton.

Margaret was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy, Bay View, and was employed as a sales representative for the New England Telephone Company for many years. Mrs. Gentile was honored as Woman of the Year by St. Mary’s Bay View Alumnae Association, and the City of Warwick. She was a volunteer student teacher in the Warwick School Department and was a founding corporate member of PARI.

In addition to her husband Bob, she leaves her children and grandchildren, Robert A. Gentile, Jr., Esq., and his wife Susan, of Davie, Florida and grandchildren, Dante and Bianca Gentile, Esq.; David J. Gentile, Esq., of East Greenwich; Stephen H. Gentile A.I.A, of Milton, Massachusetts; and her daughter, Tracy A. Benway, PT, and her husband, Shawn of Saunderstown, and grandchildren Jordyn and Roman Benway. Margaret was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

I can no longer see you with my eyes, or touch you with my hands, but I will feel you in my heart forever.
