Lori Ann (Sawaia) DiNobile, 61, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family, at her home in Lincoln. She was the beloved wife of Paul Florio DiNobile Jr., and the two were married for over 45 years.
Lori was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She was also a kind and loving friend to many.
Lori was born January 31, 1962, in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Marie (Lanni) Sawaia and the late Joseph Sawaia.
Besides her husband, Lori is survived by her two daughters, Toni Scaramuzzo and her husband Michel of Lincoln and Alyssa LaMothe and her husband John of Lincoln. Lori also leaves behind four grandchildren Isabella, Lucia, Angelo and Luigi who she adored and loved with all of her heart. Lori is also survived by her brother, Joseph Sawaia and his wife Christine of Cranston. She also leaves many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and neighbors whom she loved dearly.
Lori was her happiest when she was spending quality time with all her grandchildren. Lori loved taking them shopping but most of all baking with them in her kitchen. Lori loved helping others in any way possible, expressed especially through baking and cooking. She touched the lives of many people and will be truly missed. Lori showed us through her life the true meaning of caring and giving.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. in Saint Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Entombment in Swan Point Cemetery will be private.
