Linda C Gordon

Linda C Gordon, age 76, of Providence passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Hope Hospice in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Bryan J. Gordon, Sr., they were married for forty five years.

Linda worked as a solderer for various jewelry companies in her early career. Later in life she worked as an inserter for the Providence Journal Company.

When Linda and Bryan were raising their family Linda enjoyed camping, boating and other family oriented activities. When her kids became adults Linda enjoyed riding on Bryan's Harley Davidson. After the death of her beloved Bryan, Linda found solace and comfort in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would also find companionship with her furry friends Peanut and Snoopy.

Linda is survived by her children, Bryan J. Gordon and his wife Susan, of Scituate; a daughter, Lora J. Benetti and her husband, Joseph Harding, of McDonough, GA; two brothers, Donald MacKay of Riverside, RI, Dennis MacKay of Providence, RI with whom Linda lived, her sister Debbie Humes of Portsmouth, NH, six grandchildren, Alyssa, Robert, and Ariana Benetti, Marisa Harding, Zachary Gordon and Steven Celani. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Alana Celani and Jack LaVigne.

The funeral service will be held Monday, at 11:30 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Family and friends may call Sunday, 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
