Lawrence Joseph Souza, Sr., 72, of Enfield Avenue, Providence, passed away peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence on May 9, 2021. He was the husband of Beverly A. ( Fox ) Bates.
Born in Providence he was the son of the late John and Coretta ( Boulden ) Souza.
Lawrence was a fork lift operator with Key Container Company in Pawtucket for over 30 years until his retirement.
In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by his children, Lawrence J. Souza, Jr., Andrea D. Brown, Eric P. Souza, Evelyn K. Barros, Andrew P. Bates, Alicia E. Bates and Anita C. Souza. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
