Lawrence D Masso

Lawrence was born November 2, 1952. He was the beloved husband of Jane (Maloney) Masso, and the son of the late John D. Masso and Marion (Castrechino) Masso. In 2019, Larry retired from Masbro Polishing Company, which he owned and operated with his partners and cousins, Thomas and Vincent Masso. Larry was a passionate motorcycle rider, and spent countless hours touring on his favored Harley Davidson. He loved the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics, and enjoyed discussing and analyzing plays and strategies with his daughter and grandsons. Larry was charismatic and personable, with a keen sense of humor. He loved his family, and he was loyal to all who knew him and loved by all who met him.

Besides his wife Jane, he leaves behind his beloved daughter, Sondra L. Masso (daughter of the late Lynda A. Masso), and his grandsons, Alex L., and Matthew J. Masso. He was the brother of the late John D. Masso, Jr., David and Gary V. Masso. He was the stepfather of Jennah (Nate) Hubbell, Julia (Matthew) DeJesus, and step-grandfather to Aaralyn Hubbell, Hadley and Kaya DeJesus, and the cousin of Linda Marsella.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of his life at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI on Thursday, July 14th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
