Laura J. (Pietrunti) Barone, 95, of Providence passed away August 15, 2012. She was the wife of the late Vincent Barone and mother of the late Nicholas V. Barone.
Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Annunziata (Piacitelli) Pietrunti.
Laura was the sister of Nicholas Pietrunti, Jospehine DiChiara and the late Salvatore, Anthony, Ambrose and John Pietrunti and Mary Lentini. She was also the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Friday from 8:30-9:30 am in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Plainfield Street, Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. www.romanofuneralhome.com.
