John V. Passaretti, 89, passed away July 25, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of Josephine S. (Marsocci) Passaretti; devoted father of John P. Passaretti and his wife Catherine, and Dennis J. Passaretti; cherished grandfather of 4; brother of Phyllis Russillo, Susan Merolla and the late Enrico, Vincent and Victor Passaretti.
He was the owner and operator of Dennis Jewelry Company and a member of the Wanskuck Rod and Gun Club. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday 9-10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Edward Food and Wellness Center, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904.
