Jean B. (Siravo) Lombardi, 88, passed away October 14, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Rudolph “Rudy” Lombardi for 66 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Flavio A. and Maria (Ricozzi) Siravo. Jean was the loving mother of Steven R. Lombardi and his wife Donna, Lorraine E. Longano and her husband Joseph, and David F. Lombardi and his wife Carol; cherished grandmother of Tanya, Jason, Gina, Amanda, Antonio, Steven II, Daria and Derrick; great-grandmother of Sydney, Benjamin, Paige, Matthew, Ava and Adalina. She was the sister of the late Henry and Vincent Siravo, Helen DeFalco and twin brother Eugene Siravo.
Along with her husband, Jean founded Lombardi’s Rex Tavern, Lombardi’s 1025 Club and Lombardi’s Hillside Country Club. Together she and her husband wintered in Boynton Beach, Florida for 45 years. Jean and Rudy had been together for a total of seventy-five years, he was her soulmate whom she could not live without. Jean always loved decorating her homes, traveling to Europe, walking, animals and the holidays. She especially loved to spend time with her beloved family.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by entombment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
