Eleanor V. DiFilippo

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Eleanor (Mack) Pezza.

Eleanor worked for the State of R.I.: Constituent Affairs Division for 15 years before retiring. She was very family orientated and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the loving mother of Philip N. DiFilippo, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Lori Ann DiFilippo-Cirella and her husband Stephen and Robert M. DiFilippo and his wife Christine; cherished grandmother of Christopher, Alisha, Stephen, Nicholas, Jacob, Eric, Rachel, Cameron and Colin and great grandmother of Lucas, Carson, Brody, Hudson, Casey and expected soon, Adeline. She was also the sister of Paula Demers.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org.
