David HC Phan passed unexpectedly on February 14th, 2024 in Providence, Rhode Island. David was born on July 25th, 1995 and was the son of Hong Choummalaithong and Nimol Phan, and an older brother to Austin, Destinee, and Savanna. He was raised in Rhode Island and a graduate of Cranston High School West where he was deeply loved by family and friends. He will be remembered as a caring, charismatic, sarcastic, and especially as an honorable man. David’s personality made him the most lovable as he was never failing to make the people around him laugh. Although he enjoyed spending his time with his friends and siblings, no one could compare to his puppy wups. David was truly humble and only wanted to be remembered as a good and kind person, as he had once told me. He never sought any recognition for his generosity or love. There will never be enough words to describe the impact that he has made to our lives. We will all remain eternally grateful and honored for having him in our lives and for all the happiness, laughs, and love that he provided us. David will be deeply missed and shall remain to live on in our hearts and our memories. Always and forever.
