Dante " Danny " J. Marovelli, Jr., age 90, of Scituate, RI passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. ( Zilinsky ) Marovelli and the late Gloria ( Borders ) Marovelli.
Born in Providence, RI he was the son of the late Dante J. and Rose A. ( Russell ) Marovelli, Sr.
Early in his career Danny worked in retail and would go on to serve his country proudly in the United States Army. After his time in service he had an over 40 year career in the United States Postal Service in the Turnkey Branch.
In addition to his wife, Dante leaves his son Dante J. Marovelli, III and his wife Susan, his grandchildren, Anthony Marovelli and his wife Claire and Dante J. Marovelli, IV. He leaves his sister Flora Hainey and his brother John Marovelli. Mr. Marovelli also leaves 2 nieces and 1 nephew and 1 great nephew.
His Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
