Born in Guatemala, he was the son of the late Medardo Velasquez Pineda and Maria Petrona Solórzano Garcia.
He was the father of Cesar Velasquez, Jafia Delecon, Ross Velasquez, Martha Velasquez and the late Josue Velasquez.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 4-8 PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, RI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 549 Plainfield Street, Providence, RI.
Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery, 100 Harrison Avenue, Warwick, RI.
