Born in Boston, MA he was the son of the late William and Beatrice ( Stearn ) Jacobs.
Arthur enjoyed a lengthy retirement and had worked in sanitation for various Municipalities during his working career. Arthur was a freelance artist and would be best remembered for his Christmas artwork. He had also coached the Ajax Angels of Boston, MA.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Michelle Dinucci and her husband Frank of Providence, RI and Sara Giammarinaro of Taunton, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren, Marykatelin Jacobs, Brianna Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Mikey Giammarinaro, Giavannie Giammarinaro, Damien Giammarinaro, Eris Giammarinaro, Wesley Lea, Vanessa Lea and his great grandchildren, Aidyn Lopez-Jacobs, Paisley Jacobs, Dave Babilonia and Josiah Vasconcelos.
Mr Jacobs is survived by his brother Walter Jacobs and his sisters Beatrice Walker and Barbara Wallace.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
