Anthony Pepe J. Girard Sr.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul A., Sr. and Frances (Greer) Girard. He had been the husband of the late Carol A. (Albanese) Girard.

He was the father of Lisa O’Connell and husband Robert, Anthony J. Girard, Jr. and wife Kellie, Jenniefer L. Corrigan and husband Jay; his adored grandchildren Teresa, Anthony Paul, Caroline and Michael; brother of Paul A. Girard, Jr., Pauline F. Lacharite and Dolores I. Jutras; and his faithful canine, Molly.

Anthony had worked for Mount Pleasant Alarm Company for 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening, travelling, and going to the beach with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, 4-8 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, followed by a graveside burial with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
