Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John P. Izzo, Sr. and Mary (Conca) Izzo.
Ann had the laugh of a goddess, it could make you smile on your worst day. She was always cooking or cleaning and caring for her family. Everyone and every animal were one of her "babies", she had the biggest heart of anyone you'd meet. These last few years she fought so hard and held on with a smile for as long as she could. She made it 13 years without her youngest daughter and now she can rest with her big beautiful smile and all her family who has since left us. The family who is here will forever feel the emptiness of your missing presence but will always resort to a smile reflecting on the memories made with you.
She was the loving mother of Julie M. Kennedy and the late Kimberly L. Kennedy; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Martino and Erika Cambra; great-grandmother of Cameron and Lillianne Montminy; and sister of the late Christine M. Clancy and John P. Izzo, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Ave, Johnston. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904 or www.hopehealthco.org
