Providence Alexander C. Perry, 44, of Top Street, died Tuesday, December 2, 2015, at home.Born in Ogdensburg, New York, he was a son of Senator Rhoda E. Perry and the late Dr. Donald M. Perry.A graduate of Rhode Island College, Alex was a self-employed painter on the East Side. He struggled with addiction for many years. In addition to his mother, he leaves a son, Lucas E. Perry; a daughter, Paige A. Perry; a brother, Dr. Samuel E. Perry; and his aunt, Pamela E. Bailey; as well as the mothers of his two children, Susan Perry and Heather Carey.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 11, at Central Congregational Church, 296 Angell St., Providence.
