Nina Rhae "GiGi" Martin

BRISTOL,TN –The family chain is broken now and nothing seems the same, but as God takes us one by one, that chain will link again.

Nina Rhae “GiGi” Martin, 37, of Bristol, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Nina was born March 19, 1973, at Baltimore Maryland. She was the daughter of Kathy Vaughn of Bristol, TN, and Alton Alvey (Daddy Earl) of Princeton.

Gigi graduated in 1994 from Central Special School in Edgewater, MD.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers Roy Lee Vaughn and Alton H. Alvey.

In addition to her parents, GiGi will be sadly missed by her grandmothers, Nina Mowery of Bloomsburg, PA, Mildred Alvey of Princeton; brother, Alton Alvey, Jr. of Tazewell, VA; sisters, Patricia Dillon of Princeton, Mary Jane Hall of Princeton; many aunts, uncles, and special aunt Bunny; five nieces; and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Tracy French officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the services at Roselawn Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Dillon, David Hall, Spike Greer, Joseph White, Alton Alvey Jr., and Aaron Nichols.
