He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis, daughter Nicole “Angel” (Rob Basserman), son Jordan Cardinal, three grandsons: Liam, Isaiah and Declan, sisters Joan Smith of Los Angeles, California, Bernie McInroy (Garry) of Peterborough, Ontario, Mary Jones of Cobourg, Ontario, sister-in-law Margaret Legg, brothers-in-law Bill, Richard, Jim and Garry Cardinal and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is predeceased by his parents Gerald and Evelyn, brother Harry of Marmora, Ontario, his first wife Sonja and his best friend of 40 years, Ray Carlson.
There will be no service by request.
