Barbara Anne Nearing

A wife, a Mother, a Grandmother and Great grandmother. Nan was meant to be a mom here on this earth and everyone who knew her was blessed to feel her love.

Barbara Anne was Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia to Marybelle and Joseph Tracey.

On July 22, 1954 - The day the world would welcome the most beautiful soul!

Nan held the family together like the feeling of warmth from the sun, her love always radiates.

Like the ocean, her love will never end; like the moon, she lights our hearts and our paths as we walk through the rest of our time here.

Nan will always be with us.

She will be missed beyond what words can express - Nans humor is something we will hold so closely. It's very hard to think of a memory where she did not make us laugh.

Barbara loved spending her time with her sweet dog Lola. She took care of Lola as well as she did her husband and kids. Barb enjoyed her tea and coffee with her friends and loved ones. Her home and garden was always warm and decorated beautifully for every occasion! Her traditions will live on, as well as her recipes.Nan made the best turkey dinner and spaghetti and meatballs! Her stuffing and sauce can never be beat, and it will show up at Christmas and Thanksgiving as she made sure her girls knew how it was done!

Barb also enjoyed her trips with her husband and family. She loved her walks, shopping, and the cassino! Win big up there Nan!

Nan was very creative when it came to decor and painting!

She painted some gorgeous paintings of nature that we will cherish forever.

Nan's love for her family was her gift here on this earth; that is what made her life sweet and whole! She loved having her family around; that is when she was the happiest. She always made sure everyone knew they were loved, welcome, and comfortable.

Barb is survived by her loving husband Patrick Nearing - Their love for each other is something very special that few get to know- their love will always live on.

Barb was blessed with two loving daughters Wanda Nearing and Tania Nearing, her grandchildren Whitney Montgomery ( Craig Montgomery ) and Robin Waughtal and her great grandchildren Ryla Montgomery, Maverick Montgomery and Airah Montgomery. Her brothers and sister - Brain Tracey, John Tracey and Diana Mcneil.

She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marybelle Tracey, her sisters Julia and Elizabeth Tracey and her brother Angus. Along with other siblings she has now met in heaven.

We love you Barb/Mom/Nan your memory will live on in everything we do - until we meet again our sweet angel.
