Northington, William Elijah a resident of Prattville, Al passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sylvia Stoudenmire Northington, a brother: C.C. “Bud”Northington, and a sister: Elizabeth Northington Johnson. He is survived by his beloved best friend and companion: Clara T. Wright, his children: Elizabeth Northington, Stella Northington (Ken Heyman), Peyton Northington (LuAnne), Joseph Northington (Timothy Tew), a sister: Lavera Choate, Frisco City, Al and a brother: Joseph Alva Northington of Prattville, Al. Six Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Wednesday May 23rd from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 24th , 2018 at 11:00 am at Wesleyan Church in Prattville, AL with Dr. Tom Ward officiating. Burial will follow in West Over Memorial Park in Augusta, Ga on Saturday May 26th at 11:00 am (EDST).
