Funeral services will be held Sunday July 6th at 9:45 AM at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with Pastors Billy Terry and Tommy Roy officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel.
Bo was born November 14, 1955 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Betty Lou Bibb Terry and the late Frank Walker Terry. For seven and half years he was the maintenance supervisor for the waste water management department for the City of Millbrook. He was known for his dedication to his job and for being a friend to all who knew him. He liked and understood people and was quick to help anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bo loved hunting and was an avid Alabama Football fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of eleven years, Melissa “Missie” Terry of Prattville; three sons, Mark Walker Terry, Juan Robert Terry and Oliver Frank Terry who are all brothers and were adopted from Foster Care last December by Bo and Missie. Other family members include Bo’s mother, Betty Lou Terry of Portsmouth, Virginia, two brothers; Frankie Edison Terry of Portsmouth, Billy Clayton Terry of Oklahoma City; a sister, Pamela Sue Bowman of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Dorothy Marie Dunlap of Prattville; brother in law, Michael Sherrill Dunlap, Jr. of Wilmington, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and other close family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Harris, Trey Cherry, Gregg Guthrie, Don Smith, John Watts and Cedric Langford.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bo’s fellow employees from the City of Millbrook
