Robert Eldon Billingsley

February 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Margaret Billingsley; brother, Sonny Billingsley and sister Ann Smith. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smedley Billingsley; children, Alisa Gibbons (Jeff) and Michael Billingsley (fiancé April Chapel); grandchildren, Taylor Gibbons and Tucker Gibbons; and sister, Joyce McLendon.

Bobby was a dedicated and hardworking employee of Continental Gin and Union Camp, later known as International Paper. Loved his family dearly and enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working and helping others. He spent many hours working to build Autauga Academy. He also served on their board for many years. Bobby will be dearly missed.

A graveside service for Bobby will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Oakhill Cemetery in Prattville, Alabama with a visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel. Pallbearers will be Michael Billingsley, Jeff Gibbons, Tucker Gibbons, David Smedley, Chuck Smedley and Mark Smith.

The family would to give a special thanks to Kindred Hospice for the amazing care and support they gave us. Especially our nurse Justine and our Aide Ms. P.
