Nellie Owens Creamer

Nellie Pearl Owens Creamer, 91, a lifelong Prattville resident, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 3rd at 9:30am at First Baptist Church Prattville. A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, October 3rd at 11:00am at First Baptist Church Prattville with Dr. Travis Coleman and Rev. Dave Burns officiating. Burial was at Prattville Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Creamer will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help others. She was very active in the community and a member of numerous civic organizations. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Prattville. She loved and cared for many children at Kiddie College School where she taught and was the Director until her retirement.

Mrs. Creamer was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Ralph Creamer, son Wallace Creamer, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son Ralph “Bo” (Vikki) Creamer, grandsons Chase (Nancy) Creamer and David Creamer, granddaughters Kelli Creamer and Mary Katherine Brown, great-grandchildren Kya Thomas, Kaelyn Thomas and Carl “CJ” Brown, Jr., a sister-in-law Elsie Owens, brother-in-laws Gene Creamer and Jack (Nobi) Creamer and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Marty Creamer, Carl “CJ” Brown, Jr., Darrell Faint, Joshua Faint, Carl Brown, Sr., Raymond Hines, Mike Pittman and Mickey Seamon. Honorary pallbearers are Chase Creamer, David Creamer and Jonathan Faint.
