Kenneth Gerald Scott

Gerald Scott, 81, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away May 8, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.T. and Jewell Scott and sister Juanita Smyly. He is survived by his wife, Jean C. Scott; children, Todd Scott (Becky), Heath Scott and Dana Wiswall (Chad); grandchildren, Josh Scott, Bethany Tanner, Halle Wiswall and Ella Wiswall; 4 great grandchildren and brother Donald Scott.

Gerald grew up and spent his entire life in Prattville. He attended East Memorial Baptist Church. His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his beautiful wife Jean and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the loves of his life. Fishing was a close second. He enjoyed eating breakfast at Big Bass and riding around Autauga County with his good friend Gene Willis. Gerald loved life, loved to laugh and he also loved music from the 1950’s. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Gerald will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. This was Gerald’s favorite charity.
