Jimmy Grant Randolph

Randolph, Jimmy Grant (75) passed away Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 at a local hospital. He was born in Courtland, Alabama. Mr. Randolph was preceded in death by his Bride Jackie Randolph; mother, Ruth S Randolph; brothers, Norris L Randolph and Sherman G Randolph; and one grandson, Nathan Grant Randolph. He is survived by his children, Michael G Randolph, Michelle R Thompson (Mark), and Sherman L Randolph. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Chris Tice (Caressa), Ryley Randolph, Colin Tice, Jackson Randolph, Cameron Thompson, Cole Thompson, Grant Randolph, and Evan Randolph; and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Lux, and Lilly Tice. Mr. Randolph retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years. He then went on to work at John Patterson Technical College and retired after 20 years. He was an active member of the Lutheran church. He was a member and Past Potentate of Alcazar Shrine Temple. Visitation will be Monday, September 10th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home with Ridout’s Funeral Home directing. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 11th at 10:00AM at the funeral home with Don Wheeler officiating and burial will follow at Prattville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital in care of Alcazar Shrine Temple, Montgomery, AL.
