Bobby Charles Gray, 63, of Foley, AL, passed away in Prattville, AL, on February 3, 2017. Bobby was born to Coye and Lois Gray on April 23, 1953. He lived in Prattville, AL, where he retired from Prattville Health and Rehab with a career in Industrial Maintenance. Bobby went to be with our Lord after a 10 month battle with Lung Cancer. He was well known in the community as "The Salsa Man", where he and his wife, Gail Gray, made salsa for many friends and family.
Mr. Gray enjoyed hunting, fixing things, going to the beach, and spending time with his family. He loved playing with his grandchildren and taking them on special outings. Bobby was a kind and gentle soul and will be greatly missed by his surviving wife Gail Gray, his daughters Jennifer Yates (Brandon), Susan Daniel (Brandon), his six grandchildren, Shelby, Sadie, Haden, Hollis, Dannica, and Harper, his two brothers Dean Gray and Mike Gray, his half-brother Jimmy Byrd, and his sister Jean Sundie. He was predeceased by his mother, Lois Gray; and his father, Coye Gray.
Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ridout's Prattville Chapel in Prattville, AL on Sunday, February 5, 2017. The services honoring his life was held at Ridout's Prattville Chapel on Monday, February 6, 2017, at noon, with Pastor Roger Parks of Heritage Baptist Church officiating.
