Arthur Richard Driskill

Arthur Richard Driskill, 94, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth (Shadow) Driskill; parents, Willis and Gladys Driskill; brothers, Walker Driskill, Doyle Driskill, David Driskill, Jim Driskill and sisters, Kathryn Lea, Lera Stewart, Nell Richards and Jayne Harville. Survivors include his children, Cay Candler, Dick Driskill and Glenda Driskill; granddaughters, Jody Candler Jankoski (Jason), Maggie Candler Weaver (Tylor) and Melody Candler Davis (Robby); great-grandchildren, Jay Jankoski, Jenna Jankoski, Tessa Weaver, Eli Davis and Kara Davis. He is also survived by his brothers Doug Driskill and Woody Driskill as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, 138 S Washington St., Prattville. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am in the church sanctuary with Rev. Peyton Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens, 841 Fairview Ave.

Pallbearers will be Jason Jankoski, Jay Jankoski, Tylor Weaver, Robby Davis, David Lewis and Allen Mills. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Prattville Lions Club.

The family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Baptist Hospice.
