Cynthia R King

Cynthia R. King, age 66 of Canton, NY passed away suddenly at her residence in the town of Canton on August 16, 2024. Arrangements for cremation are with the Garner Funeral Service. Cynthia will be buried with her companion Terry Weaver at the White Church Cemetery in Lisbon at a date and time yet to be determined. Terry passed on August 1, 2024. Cynthia was born in Ogdensburg, NY on March 20, 1958 to the late Earl Shirley Kerr Mason. She attended Ogdensburg Free Academy Schools. Cynthia was a nurse’s aide. She worked at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena and she also did home health care in both the Massena and Ogdensburg areas until she became disabled.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Leann Mast and Alyssa King; a sister Karen (Edward David) Lalonde and grandchildren Ezra Mast, Keely Dominique and Matthew, Nathan, and Colin King. She’s predeceased by her companion Terry Weaver.

Cynthia had a love for gardening her rose bushes. She was an avid reader and she was a dog lover all of her life. She especially loved poodles.
