Susan Heister, of Damascus, OR, passed away September 5, 2023. She was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 23, 1947. Susan attended all-girls Catholic school for 12 years. Susan worked for several companies, including Canby United Methodist Church, and owned video rental stores with her husband. Susan married the love of her life, Jerry, in which they shared 49 years of marriage. Jerry passed away in 2017. Susan is survived by her two daughters, Terrilynn and Kellie, and her stepdaughter, Jody, and their three husbands, Paul, Darin and Steve. She had 5 grandsons, Michael, Alex, Ryan, Kyle and Gabriel, three granddaughters, Ashley, Jordan and Emily, and four great grandchildren, Calvin, Violet, Hunter, and Alora.
Susan loved to craft and paint; she enjoyed baking and staying active. Susan and Jerry retired young and traveled the United States in their 5th wheel. She enjoyed decorating her house and 5th wheel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
