Shirley Ann Norris

Our dear friend, mother, and grandmother Shirley Norris will be laid to rest on Friday December 22nd. The funeral service will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (2727 NE 54th Ave. Portland, OR 97213) at 10am and a reception will follow downstairs at St. Rose from 11am - 12:30pm. Following the reception we will have a motorcade of cars proceed to Willamette National Cemetery for the burial ceremony at 1:30pm where she will be finally laid to rest with my father together like they planned before he passed on. Everyone is welcome to attend any of these events as we celebrate the beautiful life of such an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, wife and always a wonderful friend to the many who knew her. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The Norris family grew up attending St. Rose school and church for many years. Shirley was very active and involved at St. Rose Church and she would appreciate knowing that donations in her name were sent to help the parish thrive. Shirley is survived by her children James Norris Jr., Michael Norris and Teresa Day, son-in-law Mark Day. Also grandchildren Malia Norris-Frick, Melanie Day, Matthew Day and Madeline Day, Arlynn Sivil and Mercedes La Manna, grandson-in-laws Nicholas Sivil and Charles Frick and great grandchildren McKayla and McKenna Sivil.
