August 5, 1946 - August 23, 2019
Married to her high school sweetheart Sam Miller for almost 56 years, Sharon is survived by Sam, their three sons, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren - with the fifth due in December.
She put family first all her life. After moving to Portland, she was even able to babysit her nieces and nephews.
With two friends from church, she started a cleaning service for rental properties and then added painting and wallpapering services. She also spent time working with Sam on maintaining their own rental properties, doing complete rehabs on several houses and apartment units. Later she started a property management company managing properties for other people. Sharon and Sam purchased the family plumbing company where Sam worked, and the family runs it today.
Sharon volunteered her time as a hostess at Albertina's Place in North East Portland. When not working or volunteering, she loved RV'ing, golfing and cooking. She Always cared well for others, was noted for her hospitality, and especially enjoyed friends and family popping in for spontaneous dinner get togethers.
She touched many lives and kept her strong faith in God right to the end. She will be missed by so many people.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Albertina Kerr Foundation, Focus on the Family, or the Legacy Health Innovative Health Care Fund.
