A private celebration of life for long time Portland resident Ruby M. Worley will be held amongst family members.
Ruby was born October 28, 1920 in Kingsman, Kansas, to Mattie Lee and Osborn S. Worley. She passed away on October 1, 2010 in Vancouver, Washington at the age of 89.
The Worley family moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon when Ruby was 10 years old. It was in Klamath falls that she grew up received her education. In 1966 she moved to moved to Portland, Oregon. Ruby worked as a secretary at JBL&K Insurance for over 20 years. She was very good at what she did.
Ruby loved horse racing, card games, visiting Reno and spending time with family. Family was very important to her. She is survived by her nephew, Robert L. Worley Jr.; and two nieces, Marlene Dodson and Vicki Dunucan.
