Michael O’Donnell Freeman, 78, of Portland, Oregon, passed away January 28th, 2019. He was born in Portland, Oregon on August 9, 1940. Michael attended Lincoln and Wilson high schools ultimately receiving his GED, and then attended Portland State University. He was preceded in death by wife of 53 years, Merrilee Ann Meigs. Michael was partner and owner of the Portland family-owned business, J.A. Freeman and Son, manufacturing farm implements sold in western states and abroad. He had a passion for playing guitar, boating of all sorts, piloting, skiing, polo and calf roping, travel, and basketball. He is survived by his children Theresa Freeman and Sean Freeman, grandchildren Maggie Freeman Kelley and Rosemary Freeman Reinhardt, along with siblings Jack P. Freeman Reinhardt, Kevin & Perk Freeman, and Laurie Swanson. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM, February 5th, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church located at 4112 SW 6th Ave. in Portland, Oregon.
