Marline Ann Thompson

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Skyline Memorial Gardens for Marline Thompson who passed away at age 66 on Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Scappoose, Oregon. Marline Ann Mish was born August 19, 1945 in Portland, Oregon to Tony and Ardis Mish.She attended Skyline Elementary and Sunset High Schools. In October of 1960 she married the love of her life Delbert Thompson. Marline started her career as a key punch operator at Hudson House in Portland, she enjoyed 30 years of employment at Lilly Miller, and finally, she retired from Sealy Mattress Company in 1993. Marline loved garage sales, gardening, collecting Santa's and hummel figurines, crocheting, visiting the beach, penny slots and casino buffets. But most of all she loved being a wife, mother and grandma. She was predeceased by her parents Tony and Ardis Mish. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Delbert E. Thompson; daughters, Lisa M. (Shon) Couch and Debbie L. (Tim) Kistner; grandchildren, Garrett, Justin, Jared, Kira and Bret. Private interment at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
