When Mariela was 2 years old, her family moved to Portland, Oregon. She attended Centennial High School in Gresham. Mariela was adventurous, she loved to just pick up and explore the forest and ponds around Portland. Most importantly, Andre Rose her son was at the center of her life. Mariela had a passion for music and you could always find her listening to something different, she enjoyed a wide variety of genres. She also loved to foster pets of all kinds, including guinea pigs, dogs and kittens.
Mariela is survived by her parents, Miguel Gonzalez and Robertina Rocha (Enrique Hernandez); sisters Ramona and Laura; and her son Andre Rose.
