L.C. Young, Sr.

LC was preceded in death by his parents, Carry Cannon, Jr. & Pearline Dixon, his wife Rachel Young four brothers and four sisters, son-law, and his grandson Jordan Young.

LC leaves to mourn his children Carolyn Young, LC Young Jr, Tamika Johnson, Jessica Young, Anna Young, and Chelsea Young. His siblings Linda Cross, Robert Dixon, Catherine Dixon, Tiffany Dixon, Annie Wesley. Ethal Miller, Ella Forney and Ray Williams. 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of great friends.

L.C. was raised by his grandmother in Glen Allen. He was the oldest of his siblings. LC left Mississippi and moved to Washington where he joined the Job Corp for 2yrs. He then left and moved to Oregon. He met his beautiful wife Rachel Young of 48yrs in Astoria. LC and Rachel married on July 9th 1971.

LC loved making people laugh with his story telling and his jokes to his family and friends. LC was a family man and his family always came first he loves the kids always calling them seeing what they was doing. He loved cooking for people especially on the holidays, 4th of July was his favorite being on the grill and listening to his Blues. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting. Now if you really know L.C you knew his favorite saying was, "Let me explain something to you see."
