I was fortunate enough to work for her husband Don, who was my boss, mentor, and friend when I worked at Jantzen.  That relationship extended to Jean and my respect for her insight and concern to and for those she knew and loved. I have thought of then often over the years..  They were a special couple and had a profound influence on my life.  Jancie and I send our sincere condolences to the family they both loved and of whom they were so proud.

I've never met anyone so special as Jean Gordon. When I first met Jean at Anna's Place, I knew she was going to be my special friend. My favorite memory of Jean and I was when she introduced herself to my boyfriend when he visited me at work... I said to him... Matthew this is Jean Gordon. She said, " Hello, I'm Jean Gordon that's my name don't wear it out."  We both laughed and she give me a hug after that. I will always remember her and the memories we had together. I love you so much. I really appreciate the family as well. They're loving people, who have the kindest warmest hearts. See you later Jean Gordon!!!

JEAN MANGAN GORDON has a special place in my heart. Even though i did not know her all her life, i got the pleasure to meet her in the last few months of her life. She was always trying to help me with anything. If it was setting the table to passing out supplies for an activity, i knew i could count on her. Just how she counted on me when she was down or confused. i would let her know everything is going to be ok and would hug her, she would give me a kiss on the cheek and we would exchange an i love you. I am sure going to miss our almost daily walkd around the garden even if it was cold she would always say, "oh i lived in Montana before this, cold is nothing", and so I'd follow her out even if it was cold to me.  The walks around the garden and the her smile that lit up the room is what I'm going to miss. Like one of her favorite songs said.. She was my sunshine here at Hearthstone, as a caregiver here i have seen many go but she was one that really did hurt. I'm happy though that now she is resting in peace and we have one more amazing angel looking down at us.  My condolences go out to her friends and family. I also want to thank you for letting me be a part of this lovely ladies life even if it was for a short while. Also thank you to the family for being so wonderful and kind hearted with us.

I have great memories with the Gordon family! From hanging out with Jan, Jill and Scott while our parents played bridge, to the Sun River spring break ski trip.  Jean will be missed.  My thoughts are with you.  Scott Baines

Jean and Don were my Aunt and Uncle. Both our families went skiing nearly every weekend together. We also spent every Thanksgiving together, Aunt Jean will be missed by everyone who knew her! RIP

Jean was our "choir mother" all the years I sang with Valley Church.  All the robes were in order and everyone knew the procession.  I also enjoyed Jean and Don's company at Mariners.  They were very special friends.

Jean was a fellow soprano in choir with me at Valley Community Pres. Church. I was a new choir member about ten years ago and she made me feel very welcome. Such a dear person. She is missed.
