In 1957 he married Marlene Fraser and together they have 4 children, Dawn Marie, Garry Christopher, Denise Elizabeth, and Glen Andrew, they moved to Oregon in 1960 where they raised their family and have 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Joan Purdie.
He is preceded by Oscar Langevin and Carol Monteur (parents), Cory Johnson (great grandson), Georgiana Langevin (Great grandmother).
Gary was a brick mason’s helper for Alcoa Aluminum in Vancouver, WA for 21 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pinochle and cribbage; he was an avid swimmer as well as waterskiing, camping, and little league baseball coach. He mentored his children in these activities which they in kind are passing along to their offspring.
