She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow. Many may remember her from the Scappoose Post Office, where she worked for many years before her retirement.
Dee was such a strong and caring woman that loved to be outdoors as much as possible, whether working in her yard or sitting on her mower mowing for hours with her headphones on listening to music...her favorite was the beach boys!
Dee is survived by her sons Steven Van Laer, Mark Van Laer, and her Daughter Lynn Nelson. Grandkids, Samantha Van Laer (Asher), Deanna Van Laer, and Kimberly Critchlow (Jamey). Great Grandchildren Bailey and Tomica Critchlow.
Dee is preceded in death by Husband Harlan, son-in-law Tom Nelson, Granddaughter Monica Van Laer, Sister Kathleen Johnson, and brother Spence Erickson.
