Charles Douglas “Doug” Fogg was born March 15, 1942 to Charles and Doris Fogg in Portland Oregon and passed away October 27, 2024. Doug spent his childhood throughout the Pacific Northwest and Montana with his parents, brother Phil Fogg and sister LeAnn Larsen. He attended schools in Eugene Oregon, Billings Montana and graduated from Jefferson High School in Portland in 1960. He attended Cascade College in Portland before enlisting in the Air Force serving as an Air Traffic Controller Stateside and in the Philippines. After discharge from the Air Force, he returned to Portland and then to Seattle where he graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1969. Doug married Pamela Canright on May 23, 1970. He cherished her and their marriage of 54 years. Doug and Pam lived in Oregon and Washington where they raised their daughter Erin Fogg. Clara Flebus joined Fogg family as a foreign exchange student in 1988-89 and has been a beloved family member ever since.
Doug worked as a long-term healthcare administrator and in medical sales. He proudly served as a Technical Observer in an OV-1 Mohawk in the Oregon Army National Guard for 24 years. He served on the board of several organizations that support youth and their families who are impacted by various social, economic, and health factors. He was a devout man of God who had a passion for sharing and studying the Bible with others. He loved traveling, especially to Israel, the Land of the Bible, where he hosted four trips and went on five. He loved music and singing in the church choir. He enjoyed anything outdoors but especially hunting and fishing. Doug is remembered for his wonderful smile, amazing pies, stories, and laughter.
