Barbara was raised in Portland and graduated from Grant High School. She then attended and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and the Corvallis Assistance League. She remained a life-long Beaver fan, with no love for the Ducks. After retirement they set off for some new adventures, moving to Palm Desert, CA for a few years and then back to Lake Oswego where they owned and operated, until recently, Bernard C Chocolate stores with their close friend Laura Adler. Barbara’s list of lifetime interests included spending time at their house in Black Butte Ranch, fishing for trout and steelhead, golf, tennis, watercolor and stained glass. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed a good glass of wine and conservative politics. She most recently fulfilled a lifelong wish to swim with the dolphins in Hawaii. Barbara is survived by her husband Ronald, their son Bill Cameron and his wife Jennifer, her daughter Katy Wright and her husband Darryl. Grandchildren include Greg, Lindsay, Cameron, David, Dan and Valerie. She is also survived by her dear friend and business partner Laura Adler.
